Bipolar Forceps – Electrosurgical Instruments

ACE Medical Company offers a wide range of Bipolar Forceps for a variety of surgical procedures. Our distinctive orange Bipolars are available in four unique patterns. First- we have our traditional flat handle forceps, second – an Ergonomic round handle design to give enhanced control. Third, our Xclusive minimally invasive forceps for tiny bleeds, and last our Reverse Action instruments allow surgeons access to tight anatomy allowing and better dissection. All our forceps are German Made and feature our proprietary solid silver tips. These unique tips allow surgeons to first use lower generator settings (typically 40% less!) and offer a completely non-stick surface for the long life of the instruments.

Tip Profiles and Sizes

Our proprietary Solid Silver tips are available in a wide range of widths and profiles. First, we offer the finest 0.3mm and 0.6mm for very fine coagulation. Next, we offer a 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm blunt tip for standard cautery and procedures. Additionally, our tip lengths are either Standard (1.0mm length) Micro (0.6mm length) and ultra-fine (0.3mm length) available in all of our electrosurgical instruments.

Round Handle Bipolars

Our most popular round handle is available in straight, bayonet, angled, and our unique mis bipolars. The straight forceps which are designed for superficial procedures like hands and face come in two different lengths 140mm and 165mm with a standard tip. Next, The bayonet models are available in 165mm, 185mm, 210mm, 235mm and 260mm all with a standard tip. We also offer a 45° angled up Micro Tip 0.6mm forcep in 210mm and 235mm giving unparalleled visibility. Additionally our mis bipolars which were designed for port brain tumor procedures are available in Working Lengths of 75mm, 90mm and 105mm in both a 15° and 45° 0.6mm micro tip (Also see our Isabella forceps for additional options with these surgeries!).

Straight Handle Bipolars

On a limited basis we offer a select range of sizes and tips in a traditional flat handled bipolars. Another popular model is our lowest profile forcep the Xclusive which feature our ultra-fine tip in both a 0.3mm and 0.6mm widths. These are ideal for very tiny bleeds right next to a vessel or sensitive anatomy to avoid inadvertent cautery. Last, our newest reverse action forceps are available in 180mm, 200mm, 220mm and 240mm with a micro 0.6mm tip length. These tip widths are available in a unique profile of 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm micro tip length

Orbitaris Laparoscopic Electrosurgical Instruments

ACE Medical Company offers a truly unique instrument to address inadvertent patient burns from Electrosurgical Instruments, common in these procedures. Traditional laparoscopic bipolars require an outer layer of insulation to ground the electrical current running through the electrodes. These require frequent service and re-insulation, it is also time consuming and difficult for reprocessing technicians to diagnose and have these repaired. Our innovative design houses all of the electrical components in a non-conductive stainless steel tube leaving nothing exposed.

Additionally, these are housed within an additional stainless steel shaft that makes them completely safe for the long life of the instrument. As an added bonus the electrodes can be rotated a full 360° so you can always have the perfect position for your surgery. Last, we also thought of ergonomics when we designed our handle to avoid awkward positioning towards the patient. Our Orbitaris handle can rotate 270° so that you are always in an ideal posture for your procedure.

Powergrip 3.0 Fetoscopic Single Shaft Bipolars

To address the need for a reliable electrosurgical instrument to treat Spina Bifida in the womb we developed the Powergrip 3.0 system to safely treat these important procedures. Insulated in the same material as our Orbitaris this system provides the ultimate in safety for the mother during complex cases.
