Liposuction Tubing Connectors

Liposuction Tubing Connectors and Catheter Adapters

The Essential OR Connections 🔗

The Ace Medical Tubing and Catheter Connector line ensures you never face an incompatibility issue in the operating room. These reusable stainless steel adapters allow surgeons to connect standard syringes to auxiliary equipment such as IV fluid bags, drainage catheters, and suction tubing.

Available Adapters

  • Catheter to Luer Adapter: A precision tapered cone that allows a standard Luer Lock syringe to connect securely to a Foley catheter or drain tube for manual aspiration or flushing.

  • IV Bag Spike: A vented or non-vented spike with a Luer connection, allowing for rapid drawing of saline or tumescent fluid directly from the bag into a syringe.

  • Syringe to Tubing Barb (Toomey): A wide-bore adapter that connects a 60cc Toomey Syringe directly to standard silicone suction tubing.

Specifications

  • Material: Autoclavable Stainless Steel

  • Compatibility: Universal Luer Lock & Standard Silicone Tubing

  • Sterility: Reusable (Non-Sterile)

Description

Liposuction Tubing Connectors and Adapters 🏥

In the fluid-intensive environment of plastic surgery, managing connections between devices is critical for efficiency. Ace Medical offers a suite of Liposuction Tubing Connectors designed to bridge the gap between your manual syringes and the external “plumbing” of the sterile field.

Clinical Applications for Fluid Management 💧

Connecting to Drains and Catheters Our Catheter to Luer Adapters feature a graduated, tapered nose cone. This design allows a standard Luer Lock syringe to create a friction-fit seal inside the opening of a Foley catheter or Penrose drain. This is essential for:

  • Flushing blockages in drainage lines.

  • Manually aspirating fluid from a post-op drain for sampling.

  • Injecting contrast media or antibiotics.

Rapid Fluid Draw (The IV Spike) Filling syringes for tumescent infiltration can be tedious. The IV Bag Spike connects directly to your syringe or filling manifold. The sharp, beveled stainless steel tip easily penetrates standard IV bags, allowing for high-flow withdrawal of saline or Klein solution without the resistance of a standard needle.

Connecting Syringes to Suction For surgeons utilizing a hybrid approach, the Syringe to Tubing Barb allows a 60cc Toomey Syringe to be hooked up directly to a wall suction unit or aspiration pump. This effectively turns a manual syringe into a “trap” for collecting small volumes of fat without needing a large canister setup.

Durability and Reuse ♻️

Unlike disposable plastic connectors that can crack or leak under vacuum pressure, Ace Medical connectors are machined from solid 304 Stainless Steel. They are designed to withstand repeated autoclave cycles, ensuring they are always ready for your surgical tray.
