About our Coatings
These instruments are manufactured with the finest German Made Steel. Both the Needle Holders and Micro Ring Forceps feature a black and gold coating. This proprietary material applies both Titanium and Nitride are combined with Aluminum gas at high temperatures to provide a molecular bond to the steel. This bond makes the surface strength and density 6X that of Stainless steel alone. It adds 0 thickness to the finished material, and makes reprocessing a lot easier and hygienic.
